The Department of Oncology is committed to improving the quality of treatment and care for cancer patients. Through the multi-disciplinary cancer conferences, we have established cancer clinical treatment guidelines and chemotherapeutic prescriptions, and provide integrated cancer clinics, chemotherapy preparation room, cancer chemotherapy exclusive ward, nutrition, psychology, social workers, and hospice in clinical care. Medical services such as nursing care and patient groups aim at holistic care to achieve physical and mental care. Our results have been affirmed in central Taiwan. We also actively participate in a number of clinical trials of new cancer drugs, especially in lung cancer, and cooperate with basic research teachers of our University to conduct cancer translation research, and have received many grants for research projects from the hospital and the Ministry of Science and Technology.
