Medical Service Fees for International Patients

Welcome to the International Medical Service Center (IMSC) at Chung Shan Medical University Hospital (CSMUH). We are committed to providing world-class healthcare services with transparency and excellence.

Please note that the following fee schedule applies to International Patients who do not possess a Taiwan National Health Insurance (NHI) card.

Billing Policy Overview:

  • Pricing Basis: In accordance with our hospital policy, medical services for international patients are calculated at twice (2.0x) the standard self-pay rate of the hospital.
  • Registration & Consultation: Fixed fees apply for outpatient and emergency registrations, as well as specialist consultations.
  • Excluded Costs: Please be advised that the fees listed in the table below do not include additional costs such as medications, laboratory tests, diagnostic imaging, surgical procedures, or medical consumables. These will be billed separately based on the specific treatment plan.
  • Telemedicine Session Billing: Fees are based on 30-minute units. Any session under 30 minutes is charged as a full unit.
  • Extensions: If the video consultation exceeds 30 minutes, or if more than one patient is consulted in the same session, additional charges will apply.
  • Formal Written Report Limitation: Each consultation fee covers one Written Consultation Report for a single medical specialty. If consultations or reports from multiple departments are required, they will be billed as separate sessions.
