The Division of Hepatobiliary and Gastroenterology was founded in 1976. In addition to outpatient clinics, inpatient services, special clinics and consultations, the doctors in our division have also conducted numerous therapeutic interventions. In the aspects of endoscopy, there are the digestive endoscopy (including upper GI endoscopy, colonoscopy, endoscopic therapies for gastro-esophageal varices, therapeutic endoscopy for GI bleeding, and polypectomy, etc.), abdominal ultrasonography and biliary tract examination (such as endoscopic retrograde cholangiopancreatography, sphincterotomy, balloon dilatation, biliary stenting, etc.) Apart from making continuous efforts based on the current achievement, promoting comprehensively the quality of service in clinical medicine and devoting to the training and medical research are required. We will continue to work together in advancing the practice of holistic health care to meet the needs of individuals and the community.
