It is located in an individual building, Wen-Shin Branch of the hospital. Department of Stomatology occupies Floor 1-Floor3 and is equipped with 95 German-made Kavo dental units, 3D cone beam CT, 12 units of various lasers (including KEY laser, diode lasers, CO<sub>2<\/sub>&nbsp;laser), Piezotome, and German-made Zeiss endodontic microscopes.&nbsp;&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>\u3000Department of Stomatology provides dental service in all specialty fields, including oral &amp; maxillofacial surgery, oral pathology\/medicine and diagnosis, orthodontics, operative dentistry, endodontics, prosthodontics, periodontics, pedodontics, family dentistry and special need dentistry.\u202fThere are 28 full time attending dentists with various specialties, 26 residents including PGY trainees, 72 dental assistants, 4 radiology technicians and 3 dental technicians. The department not only provides regular dental care, but also state-of-the-art dentistry:&nbsp;<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Service of Dental Care through Home Visit \u2013 provides basic and regular dental care to those who are not able to visit the dental clinic due to medical problems, such as those with stroke and vegetative state, through home visits.\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Contemporary digital dentistry including dental Implant Center provides the best quality implants, digital dentistry in combination with 3D cone-beam CT, CAT-CAM and digital facial images, to establish functional occlusion and esthetics. is also provided, \u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Center of Dental Care for Special Needs \u2013 was established in 1995 and has been providing special dental cares to those who are mentally disabled under medical anesthesia for more than 20 years. The service is a team work of medical anesthesiologists, nurses, and dentists. In 2010, the Center was awarded by the Department of Health as \u201cCenter of Dental Care for Special Needs\u201d\u00a0<\/p>\n\n\n\n<p>Endodontic microscopic treatment \u2013 provide outstanding treatments for challenging endodontic cases as well as removal of broken instruments in the root canals.
