本研究欲探討matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2, MMP-9, myeloperoxidase, osteopontin and stromal cell-derived factor 1是否可預測血液透析（HD）患者的死亡率。

分析matrix metalloproteinase (MMP)-2, MMP-9, myeloperoxidase, osteopontin and stromal cell-derived factor 1是否可預測血液透析（HD）患者的死亡率的結果呈現，

與白蛋白相比，血清中MMP-2是用於預測血液透析患者的存活的non-inferior預後指標物。

研究貢獻與臨床應用：

本研究結果提供對於血液透析患者的五年存活有更進一步的了解，對於血清中MMP-2是用於預測血液透析患者的五年存活，也有與白蛋白定量相比的呈現。
